Based on the experience acquired in 15 different escape rooms I can say that the ClueGo Escape Room Zagreb Balthazar room was one of the best. Everything was perfect: from the warm welcome of the game master, game alone, hints that were amazing, to the nice pictures at the end of the game. Literally, there were no flaws.

We didn’t know that Professor Balthazar is a famous cartoon character in Croatia when we picked the room but the game host gave us some background and there was no need to know anything about Prof Balthazar to play the game 🙂

Major thumbs up to the game designers for putting together such an interesting room with many different props and details that look so real. From the point we entered the first door, we were amazed by the number of things we could find. There were so many items, puzzles, mechanisms that we could find and use across the entire game. Because the game is not linear and there are many items to find, it’s a lot more fun when you can move from 1 puzzle/lock to another when you get stuck and get into a good flow.
The end game mechanism is also quite different from usual escape rooms where you usually just need to unlock the final door and escape- It was a lot more thrilling and gave us a good adrenaline rush!

Game hosts were superbly friendly and also great storytellers who set up the scene nicely. Would love to come back again if we visit Croatia in future!
